The simple fact here is that this is a medication that is forced into your body without you having a choice about whether to consume it or not. How would you feel if someone strapped you to a table and force fed you prozac, or shot you with a dart gun to forcibly inject you with insulin?

Not good right? So aside from whether or not the substance is deemed harmless it is still a medication that is forced into your body against your will. It is absorbed through the skin too so even drinking bottled water or filtered water (most water filters do not remove fluoride) you will still be medicated whether you like it or not.

What do you do - try writing to your MP, find local campaign groups or consider taking out a legal action against your council, and against your water company.

There are plenty of scientific studies that show fluoride to have minimal positive effects on dental health but significant detrimental effects not only on dental health but also on the major organs of the body and it is directly linked to disease such as bone cancer.

Although alarming even this is a step beyond the original point, I couldn't care less if it was deemed harmless, I don't want it forced on me by being placed in my water supply. I DON'T WANT IT FORCED INTO MY BODY AGAINST MY OWN WILL, I AM CAPABLE OF DECIDING WHAT I WANT TO INGEST AND WHAT I DO NOT WANT TO INGEST ALL ON MY OWN!

If people want fluoride in their water then have them buy it themselves in the large bags labelled poison and they can shovel themselves a little fluoride into their teapots and water jugs and be happy and fluoridated without forcing it on me.
