Internet Censorship is coming...

The Internet Is The Only Place Where information is currently relatively free and freely available, we need to defend it to the end.

What's that? But you can google just about anything and access it now for free, yep, that's the plan, get everyone on it, all information through it, all purchasing habits monitored, all emails exchanges monitored and once we're all fully hooked up close in the net, remove the minor sites and minor players, increase access fees and hosting fees, choke traffic, switch off sites, and narrow the field of vision. You wont notice it as it begins, you will believe that youtube, myspace and facebook are free areas of expression and then gradually your field of vision will be reduced, but you will still believe you are free.

For many people this will be a fairly painless transition, people who are spoon fed their news from mass media, consume pop culture by the gallon and spend their spare time watching mindless and endless soap operas, these things will continue to drip feed them their mind numbing opium and they will have little idea of what is going on, frankly they wont even care. But for those of us who do, we need to start building our relationships offline now so we have a network ready to fall back onto. Independent leaflet newspapers, cdroms, but best of all person to person meetings, coffee groups, sports, anything where you can meet like minded people and speak freely.
