Directed conciousness affects the behaviour of physical systems.

What does this mean? Ultimately that we create the world around us with thought. Does this mean you can make a kettle float by looking at it? Not exactly, its a little more complex than that and any given reality will depend upon all of the minds focussing on it at the one time. In addition to that most people have very little control over their own minds, the majority of perception interaction takes place at an unconcious level and hence is not within the control of people.

There is scope within these scientific theories to support some of the stranger phenomenon such as psychic activity, apparitions, and remote viewing.
